Every picture tells a story. Don’t it?

Sunday, February 5th, 2012

Well, yeah, but honestly with the images that we create here usually there’s a lot more going on behind the scene than what meets the eye. Every day, every model and every situation brings its own challenges and solutions.

The following images are meant to give you just a bit more insight into what really went into the making of these particular images.

Perspective

Perspective is an interesting thing. It can be metaphorical as in ones point of view, like when we agree or disagree. It decides what we see or don’t see. If you and a friend are at a football game and you are pointing out the red headed cheerleader with the hot moves and your friend doesn’t see her it is because you have the better perspective. In this case perspective is visual.

Backgrounds and Foregrounds

I don’t need to mention the benefits that exist by being part of , but one benefit that is less obvious is the location and the pastoral beauty enjoy for many months of the year. The hills of Malibu are particularly beautiful at this time. Rolling meadows of green and wild flowers that have not as yet been browned by the sun as they undoubtedly will be by early summer. So standing on our balcony peering out at those majestic mountains this time of year is especially enjoyable.
Of course none of you want to hear me go on about the green hills and wild flowers that create the majestic backgrounds for so many of our production days without also sharing some of the magnificent subjects that appear in the foregrounds.

Advantages of Having a Digital Printing

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

Currently, digital printing is being used a lot more than the traditional style of printing. It can be used for individualized printing or for variable data printing. It is used for many marketing printing needs in both black and white and full color.

It is easy to understand the actual benefits of digital printing:

Digital printing provides various types of services such as format, short run printing, and many other types Some commercial digital printing companies also offer:

Large format printing such as posters, canvas prints, etc.

Extra large printing for large scale external applications such as banners

This service is, by far, the latest technology in acquiring quality printing and less time consuming. With digital printing, time and labor needs are significantly reduced. It can be used for personalized printing or for commercial printing needs.

The digital technology is used with a high end designing software, which can easily produce and print customized posters, brochure and stickers. The largest benefit of this service is that it supports vast scale printing assuring a high level of quality in designing.

  • Another benefit of digital based image is that there is no need of plates, which are essentially used in standard offset printing.

It is an environment friendly and error free printing technology, which does not leave a room for wastage in comparison to other types of printing. It gives instant printing results and printouts instantly can be used unlike other printing services.

A Brief History of Digital Printing

Tuesday, January 31st, 2012

In comparison to printing in general, the history of digital is comparatively shorter. In 1993, digital printing was first introduced and the history of the printing industry will never be the same again. The digital printer was the first mainstream printer that would produce cost effective short run printing.

In the year 1993 the very first digital color printing press was inaugurated. It was named Indigo. People were able to select customized high quality prints right from the desktop. On a paper surface, this ink creates a thin & smooth plastic coating.

After the launch of Indigo, the printing market went on to grow on a steady pace& in the year 2010 market for the digital printing was valued to be worth $85.2bn. In 2000 HP made a $100m investment in Indigo, buying 14.8 million of Indigo’s common shares. The principal difference between conventional printing methods and digital printing methods like lithography is the fact that in digital printing does not use conventional printing plates. Of the available digital printing methods, laser printing and inkjet printing are the most commonly used ones.

Digital printing makes use of dry ink printers like as the thermal printers.

ClearCast WiFi Repeater

Friday, January 27th, 2012

The ClearCast WiFi Repeater is ideally suited for providing and/or improving WiFi reception in office, home, coffee shop, facility area, outdoor point to point, etc. It is end-user orientation design of easy installation, no setting required.

The superior Automatic Gain Control (AGC) circuit of the WiFi Repeater keeps the constant RF output power without spectral re-growth distortion vs. variable input power level. That means different brand of AP is with different model of cable. And its cable length is even 75 ohm CATV cable.

Also, the purified spectra of the WiFi Repeater make high speed data rate up to 54 Mbps possible via cable extension which you can easily extend your indoor/outdoor WiFi communication instead of using an expensive outdoor AP and effectively preventing the critical environment condition impact which comes from extremely high/low temperature, rain, or snow.

Features:
  • Cable extension range: 0~15m (within 1 dB output power reduce)
  • High Spectral purity for high data rate: 1st lobe: -30dBc, 2nd lobe:-50dBc.
  • Built-in AGC, keep RF power output constant and spectral purify.
  • The WiFi Repeater is 50/75 ohm cable compatible, suitable cable type: RG-8/U, RG-213/U, RG-214/U, RG-400/U, RG-11/U (75 ohm).
  • 802.11b/g mode compatible.
